A Holland Give Away

Well ladies and gentleman, there's only one week to go before you can get your paws on A Very Holland Christmas. For those of you who don't know, it's being released through Silver Publishing on the 21st December and to make things nice and easy for you you can click HERE to go and pre-order your copy. See aren't I so helpful *grins*

For those that like to try their luck I'm running a contest to give away 2 copies of the book... Seeing as how I'm a really nosy person, simply comment and let me know what the best Christmas present you ever received (or gave, I'm not fussy, really) was. :)

I will be drawing this on Wednesday and posting the winners names on my blog. You  have a choice of PDF, PRC or EPUB file formats. Good luck to all.

Best present was the painting of my daughter's dogs I had made for her and her hubby. So thrilled with how well it came out and their reaction to seeing their babies on canvas.

My kids give me 'Gift Certificates' for things I like them to do but they usually don't want to, so I get a lot of cooperation for at least a month ! best thing ever, asking them to do things and getting it without an argument! :)

The best Christmas present I ever received was a Flair pen from my brother when I was a teen. He was the first family member to acknowledge my love for pens. And I do still love Flairs!

Honestly, it's been so many years, I'm not sure if it was Christmas or possibly my birthday. But I'll put it anyway as it was the best gift ever.

My parent worked long hours and, for all intents and purposes, my sister raised me. When she was about 21 (I was 11), she went into the Air Force. It was the first time we'd ever been separated. She sent me something called a Teddy Gram. A teddy bear with a little thing of flowers wrapped around one paw. 30 years, and one restuffing later, I still have him and to this day, if I sleep in my bed, he's tucked under my arm.

The best Christmas present I ever gave was when my sister and I chipped in and bought my parents a stay at a bed and breakfast in the mountains. They were completely surprised!

Awesome.. loved these boys! was glad to get more of this world thru the aberdeen pack too :)

best present I've ever gotten was a xemo alien (green) lava lamp. It looks like a baby green alien in a specimen jar that when you turn it on glows greenish.. perfect for a night light since it's not extremely bright.. I STILL have it to this day (had it about 7 to 10 years now)
